About Us
We publish deep, evergreen stock research and a metrics screener built on fundamental data and SEC filings — independent and readable for investors.
Who's Behind This

Behind this site stands Thomas Mücke. He bought his first stocks in 1998, in the middle of the dot-com boom — back when seemingly everyone in Germany read the investor magazine "Der Aktionär" and stock-market riches felt within arm's reach. In spring 2000, the great crash came, and with it almost everything was lost.
Instead of giving up, he started where the fewest start: with annual accounts and balance sheets. He focused on German small caps, spoke with executives and employees of the companies — and before buying shares of Bijou Brigitte AG, he sat down in front of their stores to count how many customers went in and came back out.
He didn't keep his market knowledge to himself: he founded the Stuttgart-based 0711 Aktienclub investment club and ran it as managing director — its 2006-era website is preserved in the Internet Archive (Wayback Machine).
From 2000 to 2010 he worked for the criminal police in Stuttgart in the white-collar crime division, handling cases involving companies and money: fraud, embezzlement, investment fraud, insider offenses, insolvencies. In 2010 he resigned — and has never lost his fascination with the market since.
Both experiences shape every deep dive on this site: the eye of the investor who has lived through a crash himself, and the eye of the investigator who knows where in annual reports the uncomfortable truths are written. Every deep dive carries a named byline with role and short bio.
Our Mission
Prices swing from minute to minute — the substance of a company does not. We put business figures, balance sheets, and competitive position in context so that readers can make well-founded, long-term decisions — without jargon, but without dumbing anything down.
How We Work
Every deep dive rests on verifiable data from fundamental data services and SEC filings (annual and quarterly reports, 10-K/10-Q) and names its sources openly. We draw a clear line between metric, analysis, and opinion, and we lay out risks as honestly as opportunities. We work independently of advertising and business interests.
Use of Artificial Intelligence
Some of our pieces are produced with the support of artificial intelligence. Every AI-assisted piece is editorially reviewed and carries a visible transparency note in the byline.
